Arley Hall & Gardens is a place of enormous character, charm and interest. Visitors are frequently struck by the warm and intimate atmosphere and the feeling that Arley is a much-cherished family home.

The elaborate ceilings and oak panelling, impressive fireplaces, intricate stained glass and beautiful contents are features which make Arley Hall so special. Visit and enter a piece of living history. Arley gives an intimate insight into life in the Hall and the history of a family that has cherished Arley as their home for over 550 years.

The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border.

Arley Hall opens periodically throughout the year. Visitors are advised to check the What's On page for specific opening dates and times.

High Season (2nd March – 1st November 2026): When open, entry is from 10am – 4.30pm (last entry 4.00pm)

Confirmed Hall Opening Dates:

  • July 2026: Saturday 11th, Sunday 12th & Monday 13th (10am – 4.30pm, last entry 4.00pm)
  • October 2026: Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th & Monday 19th (10am – 4.30pm, last entry 4.00pm)

Low Season (2nd November 2026 – 1st March 2027): The Hall opens several days each month. Hall entry is an upgrade to garden entry. Please check the What's On page for specific dates.

Arley is a lovely route to cycle but please note that this is a private estate and if you choose to cycle anywhere other than the footpaths and bridle paths please respect that you are on private land and as such will be asked to follow our guidelines. If you decide to take a breather and enjoy our surroundings, please use the bike racks by the shop entrance before paying for entry via the shop.

The Arley estate is open every day from 10am until 4pm, outside of these hours (unless you are on the public access paths / bridleways) you are not permitted anywhere on the estate. Please respect that this is private land and outside of visitor opening hours you are not permitted onto the estate.
