Gillespie Macandrew joins Historic Houses as their Scottish Legal Sponsor

Historic Houses is delighted to announce Gillespie Macandrew in a new legal sponsorship agreement supporting our Scottish members.

This new agreement provides our Scottish members with access to legal support and advice through the creation of a dedicated Scottish legal advice sponsor. The agreement will provide our Scottish historic house-owning members with advice and guidance specific to their needs through articles and other digital media available through our website as well as access to a first-line advice service.

Historic Houses President, Martha Lytton Cobbold said of their appointment:

“We are delighted to welcome Scottish legal sponsor Gillespie Macandrew to support Historic Houses member properties.  This new Scottish partnership enhances the expert advice available to our members enabling them to maintain, evolve, and retain these much-admired heritage properties for further generations to experience and enjoy.”

Andrew Hopetoun, who chairs Historic Houses Scotland, added:

“I am particularly pleased to join in welcoming Gillespie Macandrew as our Scottish legal sponsor. Not only do they fit well with our membership and their historic properties, this is the first time we have been able to provide our Scottish members with access to first-line support and advice in matters connected with Scots law.”

Gillespie Macandrew Chief Executive Officer, Robert Graham Campbell commented:

“We are pleased to be able to provide our legal expertise to Historic House members.  Supporting individuals and their families with their legal, tax and property requirements is one of the key drivers of our firm, and we look forward to supporting members in protecting and enhancing these important and cherished assets.”
