Combermere Abbey Announces Return of Bluebell Walks for 2022

Things to see and do

Bluebell Wood At Combermere Abbey

Wedding venue and historic house Combermere Abbey will once again be opening its grounds to the public, in continuation with its popular annual bluebell walks, as well as its walking tours around the historic abbey.

Based in the heart of the countryside on the Cheshire/Shropshire border, Combermere Abbey is a much-loved local gem. In previous years, guests at Combermere Abbey’s woodland walks have included the likes of Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity star, AJ Pritchard, and his girlfriend, dancer Abbie Quinnen.

Those travelling from further afield to enjoy the Bluebell Walk can stay overnight in a self-catering, dog-friendly holiday cottage or one of two North Wing luxury B&B suites. The walk comes at no extra charge for guests, but for those visiting for the day, ticket prices will be priced at £6 for adults, £3 for children (under 16) and will be free for babies and dogs.

The abbey’s much loved Bluebell Walks will be running for the second time over a number of days as opposed to just a one off event. The walks will run from Saturday 23rd April to Saturday 21st May. They will run at 10am and 1pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Guests will need to book tickets in advance on the Combermere Abbey website, with the booking system set to be launched imminently. Parking will be available at Park View Business Centre to start the walk, and refreshments will be available at newly opened Old Piggery Café.

For regular updates on the Bluebell Walks, you can head to Facebook, Instagram or its website.
