Charity Plant Fair returns to Mapperton Gardens
Keen gardeners have a grand day out in store when Mapperton hosts its Spring Charity Plant Fair.
Held within the grounds of Mapperton House, near Beaminster, the Fair on Sunday 10 April attracts a large number of stalls run by expert plantsmen and women from across the region and is one of the largest such events in Dorset.
The specialist nursery stands will be selling a wide range of plants from organic bulbs and vegetable plants, summer tender perennials, ferns and herbaceous perennials.
The £5 entry fee includes free entry to Mapperton’s award-winning Gardens, named Historic Houses’ Garden of the Year 2020, and will support the local Prout Bridge youth project and the Disasters Emergency Committee Afghanistan Crisis Appeal.
The Fair runs from 10am until 4pm and under-5s enter free. The Coach House Café will be serving hot drinks and snacks.
