Witches Hat Hunt Burton Constable

Burton Constable's Witches Hat Hunt, Yorkshire

Hidden around our Hall are a series of witch hats – they were no doubt left behind by the witches after making potions and plotting to frighten our visitors!

We need your help to find them all to unlock the spell. There are 20 to find in total, so take a tour around they horrifying Hall and search in all of the rooms suggested on your task sheet. Beware of our creepy guides and try not to be spooked by the talk of ghosts and sounds of scary music!

Once you have found all of the witch’s hats, you can celebrate by opening up your goodie bag and treating yourself to some of the surprises inside.

Burghley's Halloween Trail, Lincolnshire

Our Burghley Halloween Trail ghosts will be haunting the Sculpture Garden from Saturday 16th October – Sunday 31st October.

Great fun for the kids! Tread through the crispy Autumn leaves to find the Sculpture Garden ghosts and solve the hidden clues. If you dress up in your spookiest Halloween costume, you’ll receive a sweet treat before you enter!

This year, children can take part in the Spooky Spider trail created by local author and illustrator Hannah Shaw. There are fun spider characters to spot and eight-legged facts a plenty! Families can also enjoy our maze and rustic woodland play area.

Muncaster Castle Halloween

There will be oodles of fun and Halloween entertainment again this year to make this a “must do” time of year to visit Muncaster! Activities include the Scary Maze, fire juggling shows, alchemy workshops, kids crafts in the Ghostly Grotto and Axe Throwing (over 18’s only, weekends only).

Get ready to scream! This October, for the first time Hever Castle will host evenings of frights and terror. Discover the darker side of Hever with a fright night you won’t forget, full of immersive scare action intended to frighten you.

During the evening you will have access to two separate mazes. First, you’ll be heading into the Castle for The 13th Frame and then down into the dark cellars for SUBstratum. Halloween Scream is not for the faint hearted.
