Celebrate the best of local food, drinks, and crafts at Godinton House & Gardens’ Autumn Fair

Nearly 40 stalls will be selling the best of local food, drink and artisan crafts at Godinton House & Gardens’ Autumn Fair on October 18, 2025.

The event also features specialist local nurseries selling plants ready for autumn planting.

Independent producers, most from within a short distance from Ashford and across Kent, will set up stalls opposite the beautiful Grade I* listed house, from 11am to 4pm.

The House Tearoom will offer indoor seating for visitors who have bought food and drink at the stalls.

The fair features several small businesses who are new to Godinton including Simon James Home who specialises in crafted candles inspired by cocktails, bakeries and designer scents while Trufflus is a small-batch chocolatier crafting ethical chocolate.

The Nepalese street food team from MOMO, a family-run business and a finalist in the British Street Food Awards, will serving traditional Nepalese dishes with a twist made with locally sourced seasonal produce, while Flying Fox Coffee, based in Cranbrook, will be serving drinks from the company’s adapted horse trailer.

Laser Queen Studio, run by former midwife Marika, will also be joining the fair with creative designs engraved on wood and slate, from chopping boards to placemats.

Visitors can also explore the 12-acre gardens which features a Walled Garden, Italian Garden, Twin Borders, meadow and ponds.

Entry to the event is included in the price of a standard garden entry ticket and season tickets/ Historic House cards will be valid for free entry after 1pm.
