Knebworth Gardens and Dinosaur Trail will be opening weekends in November

Gardens and grounds are allowed to open for exercise. Knebworth Gardens can now confirm they will open each weekend in November from 11am to 3pm, at £7 per person and £25 for a family of 4 ticket.

The Gardens and Dinosaur Trail will be open for visitors to enjoy, while the Garden Terrace Tea Room will offer a takeaway service. At this time the House, Playground, and Maze will remain closed, the Gift Shop is now available online at www.knebworthhouse.com with click and collect available.

Knebworth Park & Gardens are keen to offer a safe space for families to enjoy the Autumn season in the spacious 28 acres of gardens including the Dinosaur Trail which is a great location to watch the leaves change while children can follow the trail of 72 life-sized dinosaurs through the wilderness garden.

During these difficult and uncertain times the health & safety of visitors and staff will remain of utmost importance to management, who have implemented practices to safeguard all on site including:

  • Making hand sanitiser available on site for staff and visitor use.
  • Displaying clear signage throughout the site.
  • Enhanced cleaning regimes.
  • Social distancing measures.
  • Limited capacity across all areas of the site.
  • Markers have been placed 2 metres apart in areas where there may be a queue to encourage social distancing.

Pre-booking online is essential at this time, tickets can be purchased at www.knebworthhouse.com.
Tickets will be available one week at a time.

The attraction wants everyone to enjoy a wonderful day out at Knebworth Gardens and would like to reassure all visitors that they are adhering to all guidelines issued by Public Health England and the Government in relation to Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

The Covid-19 situation is being monitored daily by management and their website and social media channels will be updated as the situation changes. The attraction does however ask visitors to follow government advice and remain at home if you have any symptoms.

Managing Director, Martha Lytton Cobbold Commented:

We understand how important connecting with nature, and seeing the Autumn colours is to maintaining mental and physical wellbeing in these difficult times, and are pleased to be able to open the Knebworth House Gardens and Dinosaur Trail for the next few weekends. This enables us to keep jobs going and the business open, for which we are very grateful.  Thank you to our visitors for their ongoing support as we navigate our business through this difficult time.”
