We have some exciting news! We are delighted to announce that following the recent government guidance, we are safely able to reopen and welcome visitors back to the Sculpture Gardens and Garden of Surprises from the 19th June 2020.

We are moving to an entirely online booking service so that we can manage the capacity of visitors to maintain social distancing, both within the gardens and at the entry points. You will have the option of booking from two time slots; 10:30 - 13:00 or 14:30 – 16:30.

Our staff have been working hard to ensure that we could reopen safely whilst you still have an enjoyable experience exploring the pleasures of the Gardens. Our team of gardeners have also been busy in the hope that we would be opening up for our visitors again this year, the Sculpture Gardens will be fully open including our new areas of herbaceous planting and a selection of new sculptures.

The Garden of Surprises will be open, although there will be limited access to certain areas and no contact with water features. To maintain your safety, the children’s paddling area, maze and viewing mound will be closed. We have created a COVID-19 Information for Visitors on our website so you know what to expect before planning your visit, how you can book your tickets to the Gardens as well as explaining the measures we have put in place to keep you safe during your visit. Please read this information in it's entirety.
