Loseley Park re-opening
Alexander and I are absolutely thrilled (and I have to say a little nervous) about opening our gardens from Monday 8th June. They are looking really fabulous under the watchful eye of our Head Gardener, and we are very excited to share them with you.
Before you visit:
All information about the opening will be available on our website and updated regularly, but in short we will be opening from 10am-3pm Monday to Thursday, and to begin with, in order to maintain the safety of the staff on site and all of our visitors we will have a card-only payment method for entry (don’t forget your Friends cards!).
There will be no toilet facility though we are working hard to open this as soon as we can – unfortunately we have a huge bees hive in the roof of the existing loo block, but the building itself is also non-compliant to current social distancing requirements so will remain closed at this point.
We will be operating a one way system around the Walled Gardens which will be clearly signposted. It goes without saying that we hope everyone will be respectful of each other and keep the advised distance between other visitors. There will also be various paths blocked off – we are under obligation to prevent cross-over paths which is why blockades are being put in place.
We will not have a coffee/tea outlet YET – but again, like the toilets, we have the intention of operating this facility in the coming weeks.
We are looking forward very much to opening the garden door next week and welcoming you to Loseley over the coming weeks and months.
With very best wishes,
Alexander and Sophia
