Comberemere Abbey to light up for the NHS
Combermere Abbey, in Cheshire, will tonight be lighting up their walled garden to say thank you to the NHS and key workers in Cheshire during the covid-19 pandemic.
The restored Walled Gardens at Combermere are 6 acres, split into three gardens. Restored over the past 25 years, they have the world's only fruit tree maze designed by Randoll Coate which surrounds a Messenger Glasshouse erected during the tenancy of Katherine Duchess of Westminster in 1903. The gardens are now used for guests staying in our holiday accommodation and the brides and grooms marrying at Combermere. This romantic photo illustrates the centuries old walls and the wonderful trees in the Pleasure Garden behind.
