This December, we invite you to embark on a tour of Middleton Hall with a festive twist. Guests will be greeted with the first of their ‘winter warmers’, a glass of mulled wine or a ‘hot toddy’ before sitting down to hear a short introduction to our history. Once you are all warmed up, get set to immerse yourself in Middleton’s history and stories of Christmases gone by. Our knowledgeable tour guides will lead you around our buildings which include a medieval hunting lodge, a Tudor jettied building and the bedroom of renowned naturalist, John Ray. Guests will then be brought in from the cold for their second winter warmer, a splendid cup of tea or coffee accompanied by seasonal cakes and sweet treats.
