The Easter fun starts on Saturday 4th April when the Palace Easter Trail, will be in place. If you’re successful, claim your prize from the Visitor Reception on the way out. The trail will run until the end of the school holidays on Sunday 19th April.
On Tuesday 7th and 14th April (10:30am-3pm), our Crafty Cats sessions will take place in the Undercroft of the Palace. On both days the theme will be “baby animals” the activities will be different on each occasion.
On Thursday 9th and 16th April (10am-4pm), the Palace team will be holding “Nature Ninjas” activity sessions with a difference in the Community Garden, aimed at getting little ones engaged with nature. This year the Palace will have two lambs with their mother for children to meet and some wool-based activities.
If you’re looking for a day out with a difference, then don’t miss The Bishop’s Palace’s Medieval Falconry Day on Easter Saturday (11th April) and don’t forget we have the fabulous Dragon’s Lair playground where little ones can let off steam on the natural play equipment.
Family activities are included in standard admission and under 5’s are always FREE. Please note that activities will not be free for Historic Houses members.
