Overview

Willey Park is a complete example of an early nineteenth-century Neo-classical mansion of exceptional quality, the masterpiece of architect Lewis Wyatt.

This private family residence has an exceptional collection which contains a series of references to social, economic and political British and European life from Waterloo through to the Industrial Revolution up to the present day.

FROM SHREWSBURY AND NORTH WALES Take A458 Shrewsbury – Much Wenlock – Bridgnorth road, 12 miles approx. Leaving Gaskell Arms Hotel on right continue to the Garage: turn left for 300 yards. At T-junction turn right towards Broseley on B4376. After 1¾ miles fork right on B4376 (NOT B4375). After 1 mile bear right into drive at Barrow Lodge. Follow drive round and then turn left at the sign saying “all lorries turn left”. Cross a cattle grid after about 200m and turn directly right up to entrance to House. Turn left into courtyard where parking is available.
