Overview

Talboys is one of the oldest properties in Wiltshire. Dating from 1420 in part, the house is timber framed with wattle and daub panels on a dressed limestone plinth.

The interiors are interesting and unusual with a fine vaulted hall, original 15th century murals and much wood carving. Many fine old stained-glass, lead-lined windows.

The interiors are homely and the house is decorated with flair, with many fine antiques and paintings and  curios collected by the owners from  travel in India and the east. A fine vaulted Hall,  and much detailed wood carving. Very much a family home - come and see Talboys and enjoy a delicious tea in the kitchen where Crawfords famous biscuits were first created!
