Stansted Park is home to stunning weddings, forest walks, afternoon teas and some of the best events in the south! Visit the Mansion with its State rooms and fully furnished Servants' Quarters for a real sense of a bygone era.

The Grounds and Walled Gardens are open all year, this includes the Arboretum, The Pavilion Tearoom, The Stansted Park Garden Centre, The Stansted Park Farm Shop, The Maze & Railway and the Play area.

Stansted Forest provides many routes for walkers and cyclists and is enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. The estate is carefully managed to conserve wildlife habitats which means Stansted is home to a variety of unusual birds, plants and insects.

We welcome visits by pre-booked groups of all ages and abilities to Stansted Park. 

There are two types of group visit:

Guided tours

Maximum group size 50. By appointment only, March-October outside normal house opening times.  
£12 Per Person which includes a complimentary guidebook

Free-flow group visits 

By appointment, April-September during normal house opening times
£8 Per Person

Stansted Park is a uniquely flexible stately home, offering an impressive venue for formal meetings, sales conferences and team building away from the office.

For larger conferences and away days, breakout rooms are available, as well as bespoke activities, ranging from yoga to yomping. Your team can play cricket or practise butchery at our farm shop cookery school. In the House, our experts can offer historical tours and nearby we can organise golf, sailing or paddleboarding experiences.

School Visits

Stansted Park is a friendly stately home in acres of beautiful grounds. Fun to visit, and a valuable and accessible resource for primary school children to enjoy and be inspired by!

We have been awarded our fourth Quality Badge for Learning Outside the Classroom for our educational services (2016).
