Tour features

Talk by owner, Timothy Clark, guided tour of garden, recital on early family square piano followed  by tea and cakes. The tour does not include the house, but the piano recital takes place indoors and tea is served inside, so visitors see two of the ground floor rooms.

March tour features early hellebore hybrids, Tudor primroses and  Edwardian hyacinths; April tour features crown imperials,  daffodils and Tudor primroses; May tour features Old English tulips; early August tour features gold- and silver-leaved Victorian pelargoniums; later August tour features heliotropes and dahlias.

Directions

Netherhall Manor is in Tanners Lane. Entering Soham from Newmarket, Tanners Lane is second right, 100 yards after the cemetery. Entering Soham from Ely, Tanners Lane is second left after the war memorial.

Tea and home-make cakes.

Has wheelchair access and is all on one level.
