Meols Hall is a 17th-century Manor House with subsequent additions containing an interesting collection of paintings and furniture. The house has been in the Hesketh family for 27 generations and is still privately owned.
Guided tours of the house are available and traditional afternoon teas for groups in the recently restored 400 year old Tithe Barn.
The Tithe Barn is also available for wedding receptions and corporate events.
The historic village of Churchtown is situated outside the main gates of the estate where one can visit variety of shops, St Cuthbert’s Church and the Botanic Gardens.
The Tithe Barn at Meols Hall is an ideal venue not only for your wedding reception but also for your ceremony, completing the perfect setting for your once in a lifetime event. The four hundred year old barn has been sympathetically restored by local craftsmen using traditional methods.
Weddings are organised to individual requirements and facilities are available all year.
Up to 120 guests can be catered for at a wedding reception, with facilities for an additional 60 guests in the evening. The cobbled courtyard and restored cart sheds make an ideal open-air venue for greeting your guests. We can also offer some splendid locations for your wedding photographs. We are able to provide a complete wedding package.
