Overview
Overview
Mannington Hall was built in the 15th-century. The house was purchased by Horatio, first Lord Walpole, in the 18th-century and was altered and extended in the mid 19th-century by the 4th Earl of Orford.
Mannington remains the Walpole family home. The gardens are open to the public during the summer and the house is viewable by appointment. The gardens feature Heritage Roses, a wildflower meadow, bird hide and over 30 years of wild life conservation.
