Inveraray Castle is an 18th-century turreted castle, seat of the Clan Campbell and home to the Dukes of Argyll.

On the shores of Loch Fyne and in the majestic West Highlands of Scotland with formal gardens famous for their rhododendrons and azaleas. Also recognised as Downton Abbey's 'Duneagle Castle'.

Inveraray Castle is the seat of the Clan Campbell and the home of the Dukes of Argyll since the Dukedom was given in the 1700s. Located on the edge of Loch Fyne the castle is the jewel in Argyll's crown. Original Adams' ceilings, tapestries and furniture; a vast array of arms and armoury on display; five resident ghosts and artefacts tracing the Campbell families role in shaping Scotland's history, Inveraray Castle is still lived in by the Duke and his family.

Outside the castle the formal gardens are well known for their rhododendrons and azaleas which thrive in the mild, Gulf Stream climate and the extensive rivers and woodlands include salmon, red squirrels, Golden Eagles and deer.
