A word from the owner

This is a working farm and the Renwick family live at Cragend Grange. East Cottage is a Victorian farmworkers cottage now a holiday home with many original features. We have been renovating the farm since 2011 and continue to conserve and repair the buildings. We have plenty of interesting artefacts found during this time. Our 'quirky loo' is a must see.

Things to See

Fun Facts

The Duke of Northumberland owned the land and farm until 1860 when Lord Armstrong of Cragside, the first man to have electricity in a private house, modernised the farm to run on hydro-power.
