Overview

Our beautiful grade II* house is a venue for shooting parties, simulated game shooting, celebrations, corporate events and house and garden tours.

The nine acre gardens of Bryngwyn wrap around the house and melt seamlessly into the surrounding oak studded parkland and large lakes. Many interesting mature trees and shrubs remain from the 19th-century including rhododendrons brought
from Bhutan, Sikkim and Northern India, the collection has been enhanced with a comprehensive planting scheme. Our poison garden, unique in Wales, has over 110 poisonous plants.

Bryngwyn remains a comfortable family home which welcomes groups. The house has been sensitively restored to show off the collection and updated to have all modern convieniences.

A word from the owner

Our family home has links to Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Lord Penrhyn of Penrhyn Castle and Major General Arthur Sandbach (Military secretary to Lord Curzon whilst viceroy of India) and contains some wonderful associated artefacts.
