The most important early 17th century gentry house in the county. Particularly fine open well staircase. Four storey Jacobean house built on a double-pile plan. It was used as a farmhouse from the 1670s to the 1990s so the house has never been remodelled. Everything that you see is the unaltered work of its age.

Take a guided tour of the entire house and garden, led by the owner.
