Welcome to the house by the owner, Elizabeth Price, and conducted house tour followed by Cornish cream tea.
It is a Grade II* house in 6 acres of parkland, and dates (as it stands) from 1810-1815, so very much a Regency house. Once home to a sheriff of Cornwall it has a fascinating history. Of great appeal to Jane Austen/Poldark fans! There is a tea room in our magnificent Orangery where superb fresh meals can be taken (at extra cost). There is also a Marble Hall with red columns, a Ballroom, Library, Drawing Room, Music Room with domed ceiling and Orangery.

Our private tours of up to 25 people include an owner-led tour with a chef-caterer to prepare a superb lunch or dinner. Prices per person vary between £10 for tour with a cream tea and £75 for a super 3-course lunch or dinner. Alcohol is also available for sale on these occasions.
Both Elizabeth and Reginald will join you to discuss the story of the house and its grounds. And if you wish, you may stay over in our luxury accommodation (for extra charge)
