The architect of 21 Yateley Road, H.T. Buckland, was born in Barmouth, Wales and educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham and the school of architecture at Birmingham School of Art.

Abberley Hall
English Heritage calls this one of the finest examples of a Victorian country house. The Grade II* hall was built by Samuel Daukes in 1845. Forty years on, the interiors were refashioned and much remains today. A theatre has murals of Worcestershire life. Visitors can climb the landmark 1880s Clock Tower – seven counties can be seen on a clear day.
